Used Tissue

Update: I did get out of bed at 7:45 am last Monday....So I get to keep all my Christmas presents!! We had an awesome Christmas and I hope you did too.

Tissues, used tissue, like Kleenex, are they recyclable? I laugh every time I empty my trash cans out in my room, I probably fund the local Kleenex box making factory in my area. Yes, I said cans, I now have two at my desk, one for Kleenex and trash, the other for all the waste from Colistin use. I've started throwing the other plastic medicine vials in there too, hoping they are recyclable. So, really my used tissues just have body fluid and that is bio degradable, so couldn't my used tissues be recyclable? It's like all the tissue paper you acquire at Christmas, you can't throw it away, so you save some because the wrinkles are just enough to allow re-wrapping and the rest recycle.

My tissues recently have been looking more like tissue paper...bloody mucus in my sputum. I look at as my lungs giving me a Christmas Vacation! (good song from movie) It allows for stopping of my vest, hyper-sal and pulmozyme for 24 hours. I haven't been coughing a lot, just hard. I went to Yoga twice this pass week and have done some brisk walking which could have contributed to irritating my lungs. Anyway, I feel like my mucus is stickier and I don't have that much to cough up so it takes a lot of effort to cough. From dark red to light pink spots have appeared (thankfully no liquid that's when things get super serious) made an appearance for 3 days. Albuterol and Colistin with some love beating (form of CPT) from my parents. My treatment takes less than 45 minutes....aaahhh its so nice. I don't like stopping my vest but I feel really good without my treatments right now. Since starting Colistin, I've felt more sensitive to Hyper-sal, which can be irritating alone. Tonight I reintroduced my Vest so we'll see how it goes. I need to be in tip top shape because tomorrow night I plan to dance my A** off. Wait, I don't have one to dance off....
