Sleepy Head
I was released from the hospital on Tuesday night. I was set up with a home health care nurse, who refreshed my memory how to administer my IV antibiotics. Then I went to sleep. I have been sleeping so much since then. This antibiotic doesn't mix too well with me. I've been having some intense dreams. Like the one where in my grandma's house we had a maximum security cell block, where that person and his allies tripped the system and I ran for it to protect all this money I had. While crossing this street to hide in a church I was stopped by some Vietnamese soldiers(i noted their uniforms). I told them my car was still in the garage and gave them a number to a small bank account. My car was still a 98' Honda. Apparently I have billions in the bank but I kept my car. So the soldiers were going to let me go when I saw surveillance on the roof and then my mom woke me up!
Boooo I wanted to go back to sleep but it was 10 am. I'm trying to stay on a normal schedule, eating 3 meals, walking around in the afternoon. But my bed is all I think about.
Today my nurse called me to tell me the labs were back and that I was anemic. I've been anemic before and took iron.....Great just another reason to add to why I want to sleep all the time
1. cystic fibrosis-lots of coughing
2. heavy duty antibiotics
3. tachycardia
4. anemia
5. not a big appetite
So after 3o minutes of The VEST while inhaling albuterol and hyper sal, nasal washes and swallowing a fist full of vitamins with breakfast I left the house about noon. My mom and I walked around some stores and had lunch. Then I was ready to collapse. But I had to do another breathing treatment. Technically when I'm sick or in the hospital I have to do 4 30 minute breathing treatments, while inhaling medications. While at home I've reached 3...
