Lab Results
I'm done with health tests. I want to go live in the woods. I can't handle another freakin health issue. Today the CF clinic called and left a message to call them back. A hundred thoughts went through my head of what my lab results were. The main ones were my sputum resulted in a new strain of bacteria or detection of diabetes. The nurse just told me my potassium was slightly low. Her advice was eat more bananas and drink orange juice. Thanks for the insight....I was so relieved when I hung up the phone, a little mineral deficiency, okay I can handle it.
When I got back from my Diabetes Center meeting today I had an email from another nurse at the clinic saying, I had noted protein in my urine and need to see a nephrologist (kidney specialist). #*$&*#!* Kidneys are serious business. There can be many reasons for it some more serious than others. Or it could be a one time deal. I'm trying not to go through the possibilities before I go see the doctor because I will just exhaust myself. I think I should add laboratory test taking to my hobbies...
