Sunset 18 --Leaning sick

The picture describes how I feel today...trying to hold up the Tower of CF....my lungs are not feeling well, here I go trying to hold myself together... I woke up in the middle of the night from sharp pin-point pain in my top left lung. At first, I thought I needed to clear something out of my airway. Like sometimes I get this sensation of tugging when I suck air in and then huff cough. This usually is when I cough up a plug (harden mucus that forms a caste of the airway), think of like a cork stopping up a wine bottle. I wasn't able to really get deep breaths in, but nothing was coming up.
So next line of thinking it's not so much something in my lungs, but the muscles and ribs around it having spasms. I have had this type of pain under my right shoulder blade due to disrupting calcification when I exercise. But this was more than that, when I moved my shoulder around, it didn't really seem to help and the pain was radiating through my lungs or like coming from my back and around to the front of my chest.  I slowed and sped up my breathing. It was there when I held my breathe too. I didn't hear gurgling sounds which would be blood. I thought I heard rustling, which is like loose mucus, but still I didn't produce mucus. I decided to get up and get the heating pad to see if I could relieve the pain. If it was skeleton-muscular, this would help. I couldn't find it, and I started to panic, what if this was a blood clot and it went to my heart! I began to talk to myself, no, no your breathing would be messed up, you're breathing fine, you just started cayston, its cold, you've changed your frequency of you vest...You're fine, you're FINE. I accidentally woke up my dad with the noise and told him the problem. He didn't seemed alarmed and told me to get in bed and he would find the heating pad. I thought through what could be going on, I've coughed up a lot of plugs lately, and during a certain time of the month, pulmonary embolism can occur due to hormone cycles. Must be a combo of over use and congestion, I can handle this, I turned the heating pad on full blast and tried to relax. RELAXED, slowed my breathing, everything is going to be fine...It was and the pain lessened but I still felt a tug in my airways. The airway is contracting over a plug and when I cough or force air around it, it feels tight. I was able to comfortably lie down which was another good sign and I tried to not think of NOT doing everything I had planned this weekend. The pain seemed to be subsiding when I coughed and out came a dark red plug....I think it was a combo of mucus and dried blood....it was pretty soft. I felt a little better and went back to sleep.

I slept in as late as I could  but the pain was still there. I decided to do my breathing treatment to try to break up the gunk. My lungs feel heavier, like cement is at the bottom of my lungs, that is the worst kind, the hard, sticky stuff at the bottom making me tumble over into sickness. Ok sorry dramatic, I'm going to try my best a;l day, try to be nice and try, try, try to go to my board game night holiday party!!
